Studio Prices

Join a maker community that is passionate, determined, and supportive. Whether you’re here for a day or are interested in crafting to sell, we’re here to help you realize your ideas. All prices include social areas of the studio and tabletop workspace. Projects and equipment may incur additional charges.

Studio Fees - includes reasonable use of resources like acrylic paint, watercolors, paper, scissors, etc. Please note that Diversions is primarily an adult work and play space.

• 1 to 2 people: $10/hour first 4 hours; $45 for the day

• 5-10 people: $30/hour; if you need more than 4 hours, please contact us about rates.

• Paint-and-Pass events (up to 12 people): $102 + $18 non-refundable deposit. See ‘Paint and Pass’ events for more information. If you are planning a celebration, you may bring snacks and beverages.

• 10-20 people: $60/hour; if you need more than 4 hours, please contact us about rates.

• Full Venue Pricing for meeting space (up to 40 chairs are provided):

  • 1/2 day: $170 + $30 non-refundable deposit

  • full day: $340 + $60 non-refundable deposit

  • If studio supplies are used, there is an additional charge of $5 per person using studio materials. If you have a need for a focused group that includes machine use, please reach out to us to explore options.

• Monthly Membership*: $100

• Kits purchased in the Maker’s Store include studio time on the day of purchase. We are not an arts and crafts reseller, so consumable materials are limited. You are welcome to bring your own projects or purchase from our limited supply.

• Glowforge:

• Machines (other than Glowforge and 3D printers) are rented at $15 per machine hour and includes studio fees. Limited list of machines includes: Cricut Maker, heat press, sewing machine, air compressor, laminator, foot-pedal rotary tool, and hand burning and engraver.

• 3D printers: jobs are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We will take a copy of your file and put it through pre-processing to create a quote for your project. Basic file slicing is included in the service, but if more intense design or correction work is needed, there may be additional charges. We will always send a price and delivery date quote for approval before beginning the print job.

  *Unlimited Monthly Pass can be pre-paid in 6- or 12-month increments. Pre-pay membership includes a locker (as available) and discounts on studio-run classes and workshops.

  *Studio memberships include access to public spaces, work tables, charging cords, reverse osmosis filtered water, and coffee. Closed containers only in the studio areas, please.

Special Events

• Studio-led classes and workshops are available. We will update the Events page as workshops are available. Classes and workshops may carry their own fees.

• ‘Paint and Pass’ Events. We offer a guided ‘Paint and Pass’ 2-hour session for $120 plus materials fees, which could include canvases and craft paint. This event is a guided session where each person paints on a canvas for a short time, then passes the canvas around the table until it returns to its original owner. Each person will make their mark on every canvas being created.

Machines

Machines can be reserved for one hour at a time at $15/hour of machine use. An unreserved machine is free to use. Studio machines include sewing machine, flat press and iron, drawing tablet and laptop, Gemini die cut machine, laminator, Cricut Maker, air compressor for airbrushing.
